Homeland Hospice is a non-profit outreach program of Homeland Center, providing compassionate end-of-life care to the communities of southcentral PA for 12 years. All proceeds for this uplifting and fun event benefit Homeland Hospice’s supportive services like massage, music therapy and additional in-home relief hours, as well as Homeland Center’s benevolent care program, which underwrites costs for residents whose economic resources have been exhausted. With COVID-19 protocols in place, nearly 200 family members, friends and Homeland staff  participated in last year’s event. The 2020 5K and Memory Walk was successful because of each and every one of you … including the many volunteers it took to make something like this happen!

Whether you are a serious runner, or participate to commemorate the memory of a loved one, ALL are welcome! Join us individually or with a team.

At this year’s event there is a special opportunity for you to honor the memory of someone you loved. Not only can you (and your team) walk or run in their memory, but you can also add your loved one’s name to this year’s t-shirts.

THE 5K is a measured five kilometers (3.1 miles), relatively flat course at the Rossmoyne Business Center, beginning and ending at 5000 Ritter Road, Mechanicsburg.

AWARDS: Medals and $100 will be presented to the 5K Overall Male and Overall Female Champions. Ribbons will be presented to the top three Male and Female finishers in eight age brackets.

THE MEMORY WALK is a shorter distance along a portion of the same course.

Registration is required.
