Where were you on Saturday, October 3rd at 8:30 a.m.?

If you weren’t at 5000 Ritter Road in Mechanicsburg for the 6th annual Homeland Hospice 5K and Memory Walk, you missed a good time. On this beautiful and crisp morning we had a mixture of people either there to run a competitive 5K or set a personal record for walking the 5K. Others formed teams or walked in smaller groups in the Memory Walk, with the focus of remembering someone they loved and lost.

We are grateful to all participants, spectators, and volunteers for being sensitive to the safety guidelines of wearing masks and socially distancing when necessary while still having fun in the process.

Thank you to our generous and loyal sponsors, and to those who formed teams to raise money in someone’s memory or voluntarily made a donation to the event. We raised over $16,000 for benevolent care to fund the many extra services Homeland provides to hospice patient and families.

The 2020 5K and Memory Walk was successful because of each and every one of you … including the many volunteers it took to make something like this happen.

Thank you all!

The date for next years event will be determined in December, so check back then for details!
